The pandemic has shaped every part of our lives, including the popular colors right now. With so many people cooped up indoors, paint companies have opted for soothing and comforting shades. If it’s time to refresh the paint color on your walls, consider one of these top colors.

Sherwin-Williams: The 2021 color of the year from Sherwin-Williams is Urbane Bronze. This sophisticated shade is a warmer and more natural hue than the cool grays we’ve been seeing lately. The deep taupe color combines gray and brown for a warm shade that can help ground us.

Behr: Behr wasn’t content to pick out one shade for its color of the year. Instead, it decided to go with a color palette. This palette includes 21 colors from neutrals to bolder shades that the company says will help make your home a calm and rejuvenating place.

PPG: Like Behr, PPG decided to choose more than one color this year. This paint company actually opted to go with three colors: Misty Aqua, Transcend, and Big Cypress. Misty Aqua is a playful shade that looks like you’re under a turquoise sea. It works nicely with Transcend, which has a light, sandy hue. Both colors perfectly complement Big Cypress, which is a warm shade with a hint of ginger.

HGTV Home by Sherwin-Williams: While other paint companies chose soft and soothing colors, HGTV Home by Sherwin-Williams went in the opposite direction and selected a warm, deep-red shade called Passionate. Color designers at the company noted that even though people are staying home, they can still challenge the norms and have some fun with color on their walls.
